Two Become One
On March 29, 2008, Ray and Bev got hitched
in Chino Hills, California....
What an exciting day it was for us when our two families united as one. The ceremony was very special, our kids stood up as our attendants and all five grandsons were included as the two oldest pulled a wagon with the three little ones down the aisle. After the cake reception, we headed up the California / Oregon coast for a week long honeymoon and ending up in our new home together in Ephrata, WA. It was a wonderful week seeing the beautiful pacific coast. One week was too short, it would've been great to have a couple more weeks to take in all the sites. We have spent the last couple weeks unpacking boxes and trying to make our new rental feel cozy and functional. We are looking to buy a home, but haven't found "the one".
We truly enjoy being married and sharing our lives together. Ray has been so wonderful working all day, everyday, to provide for us, while Bev has been creating a "home" at the new house. Bev misses her kids and grandchildren, but plans on making lots of trips to visit soon. Its wonderful that Ray's kids only live a couple hours away from us, so we can see them more often. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family.
We are looking forward to some fun this summer making some weekend getaways fishing and canoeing (this should be interesting...Bev has never canoed!).
Stay tuned for more updates....

Bev,
I am SO happy for you! Jody's blog post about all of this during Christmas time made me cry, but those were tears of JOY of course. You look so happy and to have all of your family and friends in agreement with your marriage is the best gift ever.
I love that the blogging world has re-connected Jody and I again after many years of being on our own paths. I am so glad you now have a blog so we can keep up with you and your new journey!!!
You were a beautiful bride. I love you...and miss the whole Vasquez family. We had many great years together.
Big Hugs from Nashville,
Kelli :)
Welcome to the Blog world! :) Have fun posting!!
Hugs,
Jody
